Relationships that are established by geometry, and then, gesture and light, those are often the hallmarks of a successful photograph.

We’re incredibly pleased to be able to talk to you about Joseph Gamble’s new quasi-photographic retrospective, which kicked off on September 4th at Colorado Mountain College’s Art Share Gallery. It’s one of his largest exhibitions to date, covering 32 of his images and encompassing his travel and street photography from 2003-2014.

We’ll be featuring more from Joseph next week in an upcoming …this is why I shoot film interview but in the meantime, he was kind enough to give us a sneak peek of the pre-exhibition build, which you can see below.

Joseph’s work encompasses commercial, editorial and fine art applications, and has appeared in numerous venues including The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor and National Geographic.com.

He says of himself, “I think now I am a photographer that seeks and hunts a picture that is specific to me.” I wish we could say the same for ourselves…

For a further peek into “Moments in Place”, check out the short promotional video below, or contact CMC ArtShare Director Alice Beauchamp at 947-8367 or abeauchamp@coloradomtn.edu.

It may be rather short notice but if you hurry, you’ll be able to meet Joseph at the exhibition’s opening reception on September 11 (today!) from 6-8 pm at the gallery. The exhibition concludes October 28, 2015.
